Search on the internet, call directory assistance for the city they are supposedly in, or post the company name in additional details for your question above and someone may help you find them.

Call the better Business Bureau and check to see if the name is registered in any way . If you have the phone number or address go to a website that performs searches by address or phone number and see what information they provide you with.
I was scammed by a credit card company and stupidly sent them 200.00 thinking I was getting a credit card and I finally threatened to call there local sheriff's and my Sheriff department and the local news and have them reported as scam artists on the news.
With in two Weeks I was sent back the money they scammed me out of. I think the threat of news action 9 on my side pushed the right button.. Good luck!

Check where they are registered. In Ireland it's with the government's companies registration office, and if they are listed it costs 2.50 euros to order their details:

In the UK, an company has to be registered with Companies House:

Do you know which country it seems to be based in? Others could help you if it concerns their country. Or you might try googling for the name.

You can check through the BBB and you can also do a whois search through Network Solutions. Through those sources, you can usually find more information to search.
