Politics has always been a way for people wth low or no ethics to make a good living and have a good time at the expense of the Taxpayers. You really have NO supervision so you can lie cheat and take bribes. Lobbiest pay for some really good weekend with prostitutes and all the liquor that you can handle. Lawyers are especially suited for politics because they are taught to lie in college and usually have no problems with doing anything wrong.
To sum it up...Politicians are the "Scum of the Earth". From local to national.

I try not to think about the politics of today,because they are usually so far behind the times that real life is a hundred years ahead of whatever the politicians are doing. What I do is think about what politics are needed for tomorrow and what politicians are likely to do to prevent the world catching up with itself.

Todays politics is horrible. The rich just keep getting richer. The poor poorer. All the people in politics have to do and set on their buts, give a speach every now and then, sign a few forms and get rich.

That my friend can be a can of slimy worms! With all the lies and BS that the shrub pulls off......We are at war for oil......our men/boys and women/girls are dying in friggen Iraq because our presidente lied....Not to mention that when he speaks he sounds like a complete moron! Oh my GAWD! He talks about spreading his AGENDA across the world...............I'd say the politics these days is in the garbage can, gutter and pockets of the rich christian right wing. A very sad statement of our country! Just cause you believe it.........doesnt make it so or right! Ummm.......I think politics suck! Too many bullshitters bullshitting!

politics today? Same as yesterday...pure crap. However, if you could retire with a whopping pension, plus health care, plus..plus..plus, wouldn't you become a politician? Most of these politicians are devious, crooks, but there are some (at least when they first become a politician) that are true blue. They learn quickly, however, and become one of the pack.
