In almost all of their videos they are wearing there masks and whenever they show in public they are. Is it because they are so ugly. I dont get it. Plz answer if you can.

Its like KISS did with the makeup thing. They are expressing themselves. They feel as though this is their unique style, and they are going to give the people them at all times. Whether it is with their music, or their own attire. It is only a mere showfront of these artists or any artist, to show people that they are themselves.

No. It's just an aspect of their band. Look at Blue Man Group. They wouldn't be Blue Man Group if they weren't blue. Other bands wears masks sometimes too. Mushroomhead does.

The members of Slipknot are in disguise because they are really the Backstreet Boys!!! These geniuses have been using those simple masks to work the music industry on two fronts!!

Well I am sure it there could be only one of two reasons why. 1. because like everyone else mentioned above that they wanted to do something different like Kiss. Or 2. because they are some really ugly M.F.'s like the kind of people that come from the trees and hills of Arkansas.

i read that is actually because they dont want their fans to know what they look like so if they ever go out in public their fans wont reconize them and try to get autographs and stuff

because it's so 'kvlt'....and if they would have corpse paint on their faces, people would think they are a black metal band....or maybe even Kiss....but probably just the ugly thing...

i dont know but the masks make 'em look kinda stupid.....but KISS wore make up so whatever works for them.....
