I can mean 2 things;
-the flesh coloured producted used all over the face to even out your skin tone and hide marks
and/or
-anything and everything used to "paint' your face including mascara, eyeshadow, blush etc.

Makeup is products people "paint" or apply to the skin to make thmeselves look better or cover flaws. Think of it as your the artist.

make up is making the most of what you have by accentuating your best points and covering your flaws...like, make the color of your eyes stand out with the right color of shadow and hide marks and blemished with a cover up...

its either to make yourself feel good about yourself if put on right or to make yourself appear prettier.................some say(guys like my husband) natural is better.......that's no make up
