I need to know a new series to read for the summer.

ppls! I HAVE ALREADY READ THE OBVIOUS! like Harry Potter, Ender's GAme, LOTR, Chronicles of NArnia, Redwall, Pendragon, Prydain, etc. Get Creative!

I don't know if this is one you've already read, but David Eddings has written a couple of excellent fantasy series that are worth checking out. The Belgariad and the Mallorean are the 2 best series, IMO - both are 5 books long and follow the same cast of characters. He also wrote two smaller series of three books each called the Elenium and the Tamuli that are also good.

well it depends how old you are.....i have a couple if you are anywhere around my age.....and also a few my dad got me to read for ppl in their 20s read the enders game series i forget the real name but it started with Enders Game or if you are like 9-13
read dragonlance or the deltora series...also check out the author Garth Nix he writes some children books and some young adult....all either scifi or fantasy ive read all his work he is really good...

This is a personal favorite but the all time fantasy book series has to be the Lord of the Rings trilogy with the Hobbit lead in.

Try reading Dragon lance series or R.A Salvator the author. Or the Forgotten Realms is also very good.

the Dune series by Frank Herbert....dune, dune messiah, children of dune, god emporer of dune, heretics of dune, and dune: chaperterhouse. also, his son ? brian anderson and kevin herbert continued the series. it's great. there are enough books to keep u busy alllllllllllllll summer
