The main cause of moring sickness comes from the this contition that keeps LOTS of salivia in your mouth of all the time. And since you have to salllow a lot of it when you sleep, your stomach just doesn't tolerate it. So in the morning when you wake, you feel that chrun in your tummy that's letting you know that your going to get sick, and most of time for me it was a lot of dry heaving and bringing up that slavia. I suggest you NOT to suck on anything sour - that only creates more slavia, and it thus, more sickness. Lifesavers thoughout the day are a good treat, starburst candies too.
Even when I got up slowly, ate Ginger ale and crackers before I started my day I still puked. My doctor put me or phenagan suppositories, 25 mg to stop the morning sickness. I took one in the evenings, about every other day about two hours before I went to bed. It makes you very sleepy, which was good because I had sleeping problems too. But to my relief in the mornings I felt energized and ready to take on my day, without the sickness!
Between taking the meds, I took vitamin b-6 about twice a day to keep my sickness at bay. Right now I still sometimes get sick; but it's under control now. I have more energy and I'm less cranky. Good luck to hon, I know what you're going through and I hope this info might help.

Old asian trick is ginger. Drink tea infused with crushed ginger, or have anything with ginger. Vegetable stir frys with ginger. Lets out the excess air out of the body too. I've heard about salt crackers too but never met anyone who's tried that. Morning sickness happens at anytime of day......for those who are a little unaware.....ahem.

The astronauts practicing for the weightlessness of space (in a plane called the vomit comet) use cherry Lifesavers. If crackers don't work, try them. Good Luck and remember everthing is temporary

Try chewing some sugarless gum, especially minty ones. The mint eases nausea, and it can dry up some of the excess saliva that can contribute to nausea. And try those wristbands used for seasickness. Hang in there.

For the first four months of both of my pregnancies, I lived on a steady diet of saltines, lemon drops, and gingerale. Lemon drops for some reason really helped - the more sour the better.

Sitting up slowly and keep soda crackers next to the bed and eat one or two before you try to sit up. It worked for me. Good luck!
