Ask coach for more help. Take your problem to his boss, yes there is one no matter what organization you are currently talking about. Learn as much as you can reading and practicing and share with all your team mates, be a leader within your team. You can also talk to people you know that played the game and ask them to come to practice to give pointers. The coach won't want to be sitting on the phone with an audiance! :o) Good Luck!

Look for basketball camps during the summer. My son does 2 or three. Also, play your behind off as much as possible. If you work hard then it will show. Help out your teammates as much as possible. As a team you can go far. A coach is an individual. Five players on the floor are a team.

Find a new coach. As a young player, a coach is everything in helping to develop good team play. If he/she can't see each player strength and capitalize on them together as a team, then you need someone new.

Trust me on this one. Just take it strong to the basket and get a feel for playing with ur teammates and disregaurd what ur coach wants. Take smart shots , Play strong defence and always box out and run around looking for ur shot. Be a hustle player and dominate the game.

If this is a school, i'd take it to the principal.
If this is some other organization, im sure there's someone you could get a hold of.
