I would advise against it only because sandals aren't the most comfortable shoes and theres a lot of walking when your at an amusement park. Another reason not to let them wear them would be because of the rides, they can easily lose them while on a ride.

What's the deal? This is the 3rd question I have read about what kids should wear on thier feet to a theme park...Just use your common sense....If it is a water park...let them wear sandals or shoes that are easy to get off...If it is not a water park, put them in their runners...(or trainers...or sandshoes...or whatever you want to call them)...What is most important is that they are comfortable and safe shoes!!!

I do not let my kids wear sandals to theme parks. To many dangers in that.

no strictly keep those things to the pool or hotel area. It is an unwritten rule to allow only closed toe shoes to be worn.

no, their feet will be sore and you'll end up carrying them around. have them wear comfortable shoes or get those aqua socks, if you are going to a water park.
