I ve a hammster, a kind of white mouse i think.
It can run in a wheel like rat race. My family and i love to watch when it is playing and eating. But, it doesn't play and eat very much at daytime.
It always sleep at daytime and when the night comes, it begins to play and eat. oh..at that time, we r all in beds. so, what should i do with it????and why it does like that?????

Hamsters are nocturnal animals, it means they sleep at daytime and wake up at night. Nothing you can do about it I'm afraid. You can buy a guinea pig next time, they are awake at day....

they sleep in the daytime and play at night

hammies r nocturnal in nature.. they sleep during d day & wide awake @ nyt.. so if u wana play w/him, u need 2b awake when he's awake...

my hammie's so noisy @ nyt. he likes 2 bite his cage bars & make this cute noises when he scratches his back.. so cute & adorable

your hamster more active at night, by its very nature. this is how i got my hamster to sleep at night , i would put my hamster ina hamster ball, and hold and talk to him or her.

they are nocturnal,, sleep during day, up at night. nothing you can do.
