mortal kombat theme song is cool,but i prefer Dope Die MF Die....words are violent and when you are mad,you become even madder....and yes,metal(was it heavy metal or death metal or nu metal) can pump you up really hard....well,you ain't gonna get the mood for action while listening hip-hop or country,right?

All of the other answers are ok songs but you want some music that will get your blood pumping listen to Metallica's "Master of Puppets" or their song called "Back to the Front"

The Four Horsemen by Metallica. It has a galloping rhythm guitar style that makes you want to do air guitar and it pumps you up. We used to play it live also.
