Goals are the targets that we establish. We need both personal and professional goals. Without goals we have no direction or structure in our lives. Without goals we can not measure success or failure. We need both short term, ie, daily, weekly, and monthly goals as well as long term goals. Annual and longer. If you do not have well written, well thought out goals in your life, you will waste so much of your time living without direction. I would encourage everyone to write down their goals and record their success in attaining these .

There are two types of goals, short term and long term. The long term goals cover the big picture, or what direction you want the company to go in. Short term goals are like mile marks helping you achieve the long term goal. Short term goals can also be used to find deficiencies in the work place. Solving why a short term goal wasn't reached can help in avoiding future problem.
This is summed up version of goals and management.

Goals are important for all living things.
Man uses his sixth senses to effectively handle his needs/wants.
A tiger leaving its den hunts for food, with a goal to fill its belly.
To achieve its goal it uses it's instincts.
Man too uses his instincts, but rarely. However logic, reasona dn creativity shape his goals into a complex form.
So we have multiple goals in life. Dont you.
My current goal on this session is to hit a 3000 before
30 July. Please award me 10 points. I am galloping now at 1672.
Bye
