The problem now and probably far into the future is that Americans only pay lip service to freedom, if we continue on our current track we will talk of the benefits of freedom while hiding under our "big brother's" Socialist blanket.
We tax the hell out of our industry and the only way it can stay competitive is to move over seas, we punish those who succeed with higher taxes and reward those who flounder with social programs, if this fairness trend continues we will tax ourselves poor and become lazy and apathetic like a lot of European countries. Per person Americans are and will continue to be the most productive workers on the planet. Companies prefer to hire us because we work hard, we take less sick days, and work more days per year than almost every society on the planet, and yes that includes India and china, while their sweat shop workers may work more than the average American, the Average American work more than the average Indian or Chinese person.
Business leave because of taxes not workers rights or cheaper labor, because of our (Americana's) efficiency we are cheaper because they can hire less of us to do the same job.

No. China is quickly becoming a super power and Japan is not far behind. If something isn't done to stop the madness now, we will be considered second best or a third world country.

No, but I hope I am wrong. If the American fighting spirit stays alive, an argument for allowing more immigrants, then maybe we can bring back the industries. It would mean a sacrifice in wages and like, but may be a necessity.

Chinese economy is set to become as large or surpass the US economy in 15-20 years. Heck in 40 years the Indian economy is supposed to equal the US economy.
Concerned?
Well, that's capitalism is all about. "Survival of the fittest"... what if someone is fitter than you? You poof!
