why would you ask this online instead of going to the doctor?

GO SEE A DOCTOR, blood in the stool can be a very bad sign, however it might just be some tomatoes you ate. consider some things have you been working out? is there something that might have caused this pain? an extra sit up or 2? Don't jump to cancer, it could be something like a pinched nerve. if it's really bothering you or if pain persists go see a doctor.

You should go to a doctor and ask about having a colonscopy done. i am 19 and recently had the same poblem but i didnt notice a lump. sometimes constapation can cause pain in the stomach and the strain to cause the blood. but it could be several diff.things i changed to a healthier diet and it stopped. but you should still be checked out.

Frank blood in the stool comes from the lower bowel, could be an ulcer, colitis, ulcerative colitis, diverticulitis, a cut from some really jagged food, or cancer. In any case, get to your doctor. He/She will arrange for you to have a colonoscopy where your bowel will be inspected for the cause of the pain and bleeding. If it is an ulcer, they can cauterize it. I almost bled to death from an ulcer that I wasn't aware of that started hemorrhaging. Bleeding is never a good sign, please see your doctor today.
