first get alot of supplies, build 4 seize workshops, than build 30 seize rams and attack a target, than while doing that build more weapons heading to the same target, always
succeeds for me even with 12 castles. also there are alot of strategies at gamespot.
for defending, build walls and gates tell the arrow men to stand inside near the gates and walls in stand ground mode. when enemies attack the gate should not open and the men should kill then with no harm. also put a villager just in case of multiple attacks.
to repair the gates and walls. remember to upgrade the arrow men also when in later ages put towers too
