High School Musical was a superb, wonderful, expectional movie which artfully combined typical high school stereotypes and situations with catchy songs which will have you singing all day long. I mean "Bop to the Top" and "Stick to the Status Quo" are instant clasics. It flawlessly updated the Grease story.
I have many favorites... I must say I greatly enjoyed Sharpay. Her character gallavanted around the movie hilariously constantly constructed a lovely laugh. The actress who played her was perfect. Her body language combined with the clever writing gave the character life. I was dazzled my her pouncing around East High creating mischief and scheming evilly wherever she went. PERFECT!
Gabriella was a character with a soul and I greatly enjoyed her outright humility. Her intelligence gave her passion, yet she was never uncertain about herself. She provided a heart to the movie and managed to make a great unlikeable main character, Troy played by Zac who did a half maked job, lovable. I think if he didn't play against Gabriella the movie would have faltered.
Ryan was also great. The actor managed to surge a great cluelessness into the character making him enjoyable to watch.

Zac. i like zac in this movie because he plays the part good and amazing. he just make the whole movie feel real and alive then any movie i have ever seen.

The guys they cast for the main roles. Like Troy(Zac Efron), Chad(Corbin Bleu) and Ryan(Lucas Grabeel). They are VERY good-looking.

I like all the characters but according to the other actors Lucas and Corbin were the best dancers and they made their dance partners look good, but I would have to say that I liked Ryan Evans (Lucas Grabeel) the best because he is hot and he is a good singer and dancer and he seems like a nice guy.

My personal Favorite was Oleysa Rulin (Kelsi the composer) she was very cute and if it wasn't for her there wouldn't be a musical (she wrote it after all). Gabriella was also very pretty and I liked her too. Shapei, though ver attractive, was a little too blonde for me. As in she is too much like other blonde "stars" out there: spoiled rich kid like Paris Hilton.
Kelsi, though she had limited lines and parts in the movie, was sweet and very cute, so I liked her best.

hes not your boyfriend. anyway, i love gabriella cause she has the soft side and shes nice. i love troy because hes also nice dispite the basketball obsession. lastly, a little bit of sharpay. she has an attitude which is kinda cool.

I love it! Well, my favorite character is Sharpay (but Ashley obviously isn't your boyfriend). She is so hilarious!
My sister loves Troy. She has a major crush on Zac...Every time she sees him she's like "he's so cute!" Lol
