Event management is an area of expertise covering the organising of events....that can be anything from a meeting to a large conference or exhibition.
It generally covers pre-planning, actual event and post planning. Doesn't sound too difficult, but it is...you have to have a wide knowledge or access to a wide knowledge on such things as local suppliers, transport, accessibility, communication, security and a million other things.
It is an exciting field to work in and great fun....even although it can be nerve-wracking, especially since you are relying on other people providing goods and services on time. Great job for people who like organising and like living on the edge....great feeling though when it all goes to plan.

Neeraj..they are folks who make money between the dancers
and the sponsors.
The dancer doesn't have care to organise the set up..neither
does the sponsor have manpower or interest to take
the risk of organising events. It could be a dance or a a grand exhibition.
So I take the resposnibility and the risk as a event manager.
And make immense money too. There are problem managers and money managers too. Check out.
