No doubt, Eric Bristow is a legend, and he's really the reason that professional darts gets any recognition outside the UK. However, Phil Taylor has won more events in a shorter time, and Taylor won the only matchup I can think of between the two (the 1997 PDC World Championships). So I believe, like the others before me, that Phil Taylor is the greatest dartsman ever. Ironically, Taylor honed his raw skill through mentoring by none other than Bristow himself. Interesting, eh?

I USED TO BELIEVE NOBODY WAS BETTER THAN BRISTOW BUT TAYLOR IS MAKING ME CHANGE MY MIND.
