My name means "of the ash tree". I guess the meaning isn't very meaningful after all, if you're just looking at the words. But the meaning behind how i GOT the name is what's important to me, and why I would never change my name.
My dear aunt, who passed away several years ago, is the one who named me when I was born. My parents allowed her to have that honor. While she was alive, I never really thought about the fact that it was a tribute from her, but now that she's gone it's something I treasure. I will always remember that she gave me my name as a gift of love. I know that might sound sappy, but it's true.

My name is Jenny a nickname for Jennifer. My name means soft, white, fair, smooth. It also means gracious gift of God.
As a kid I always wanted to be named Emily or Hannah. Now as an adult I am ok with Jenny. It has been my name for 24 years so I couldnt imagine wanting another name.

Well, i'm a girl and I was named after my dad. His name is James, mine Jamie. I don't know what name I would change it too, something more feminine.

my first name means Consecrated to God and my middle name means God is Gracious. i guess if i was younger i would choose something less common, but at my age i don't think i could get used to a new name.

Destiny is lke your destiny is to play basketball.If i could change it i would change it toAshlyn because Ashlyn is a non popular name and you do not hear it alot.
