It's not an easy situation and you will suffer for a few days whatever you do. Having said that, I've used natural yogurt after the same experience and it helped a lot in cooling the burned skin down.

Take aspirin or acetaminophen to help lower the fever. Drink lots of fluids - trembling is related to both the fever and dehydration. Gator ade is particularly useful in this situation. Don't drink coffee or alcohol - it will make things worse. A cool bath or shower will also help. Check at a pharmacy for lotions specifically made for burns and sunburns.
If you do the above and do not feel better within an hour or two, go to the emergency room. Burns are serious. In fact, you should probably just go there now rather than trying to treat yourself.

Get someone to go to the store and get you either an aloe vera plant or a bottle of aloe vera. It helps with burns really well. If your skin is burnt really bad, you may want to go to the doctor.
I know its not the same, but there was a lady near where I live that was trying to tan. She went to several tanning beds in one day and layed the max time in each bed which was 20 minutes. When she got home, her mother could smell her burning. About an hour later, she died. She literally cooked herself from the inside out.

Oatmeal. Aloe. Baking Soda. Noxzema. Sunscreen, in the future.
If you take oatmeal, and put it in a hankie, then soak it in really hot water, the juice that comes out after it cools is very soothing. If you are as burned as you say you won't be reading this. If you don't have a damn aloe plant right there that you can cut it's nice, plump stems off of it and squeeze the goo, oh, well. Baking soda in a paste, patted on the burned parts, in the tub ,running a low, cool oatmeal bath don't rub baking soda tis scratchy.
We'll be by to fetch you in the morning after you've cooked a bit more.
what?

Drink lots of water, take some Tylenol, and keep the skin moist, but clean (skin lotions, but no alcohol in them. Try Lubriderm).

See a doctor. Your skin is the largest organ on your body and you can get really sick if you are not treated.

sounds like you have a degree of burn... like first degree.. go to emergancy room immediatly.. the trembles and graded temp are clear indications of a degree burn. If you are unwilling to go to ER, you could soak in a vinager bath... youll stink but it will help with the hurt... also aloe vera.... but your best bet would be to go to ER and fast...
