They don't need yahoo answers for that. There is and always has been a secret device installed in computer monitors which monitors brain wave patterns and translates these into visual, audio and other sensory information. It reads these waves pretty much the same as an old vinyl record player used to read the grooves and rises on a vinyl record, only brain waves contain much more info as they are perfectly three dimensional.
The companies doing this thus already know everything there is to know about you. Their records get updated everytime you log on to your computer. The signals are related via satelite, so you don't even have to be connected to the net!
Anyway, I better go, they'll be coming for me soon...

You got on this because you wanted. If you think someone would use your mind and you think that if so you hate the yahoo answers then you should not be doing it. Why worry about nothing go do something more relax.

I don't think they could watch everyone's minds, just because of the sheer amount of traffic. Secondly they only know your Yahoo identity plus what you tell them. So unless they start spamming you I don't think there is much they can do.

Two words: Patriot Act. Uncle Sam knows all, whether you want him to or not. It doesn't bother me in that I'm not breaking any laws or starting a revolt or anything, but it does bother me that in my so-called free society I have about as much right to privacy as any Afghani woman.

Yeah it could be a method of census and information collection. But I think there is more to profit from learning and expression than spying.
