How long , would you consider waiting to have sex---> with someone that you really like? And , would you think badly of a girl that you felt gave it up too soon ? What amount of time do you feel , is respectable to have sexual relations after hooking up?

If it is someone I really like I would wait as long as they wanted. It would totally be her decision and I wouldn't want to pressure her into doing something she doesn't want to do. If a girl wanted to give it up too soon I would ask her to wait, and think about what she was doing, to make sure it is what she really wanted. I wouldn't want her to regret it later. I think that at least a month should go by without sexual relations as a minimum if it is someone you really like. Anything less and either her or I would regret it.

Until the time is right.... read further to better understand this answer.

Would you think badly of a girl that you felt gave it up too soon ?
Not necessarily. People make mistakes... thats human nature so its forgiveable. If she was in a solid relationship when it happened, was certain that she knew him and knew that he could and WOULD take care of her in the event an unwanted pregnancy came out of it, then I guess the timeframe and circumstances were right to have sex.

What amount of time do you feel , is respectable to have sexual relations after hooking up? Long enough to know him as closely as she would know a best friend or family member. Long enough to know that he would take care of her in the event of an unexpected pregnancy, and he would need to have the means to do so (a job that pays enough to house and provide for the three). If those things exist, then its respectable timeframe to have sexual relations when the right romantic situation happens.

Ok, first things first. The first part of a relationship determines how the rest will most likely go. If you hold out the sex because you don't want to seem easy, he will think, most likely that that is the way you are all the time. The same is true in reverse. Find out if he likes you and wants a relationship. If so, its ok to go with the flow and give it up, say within a week or two, if you are seeing each other fairly regularly. If he doent spend the time on you and just wants sex, and if all you want is to jump his bones, state it fairly early in the 'relationship' so that way you can keep your rep from getting smeared and he gets what he wants. I personally wait for about 2 weeks. It seems to work, Oh and dont perform oral just to make him happy if you dont plan on doing on a fairly regular basis, thats just misleading.
Hope I helped in some small way.
PS: Use protection

You are not going to like my answer. It all depends on the age. How old are you !!! If you are at an age who can take the consequences of a relationship gone wrong... then go ahead. Let me enphasize that by repeating it "If you are at an age who can take the consequences of a relationship gone wrong... then go ahead" -- that is the crux of the issue, that is, the female being or not recompensed in love and dedication after a she gives herself TOTALLY to a guy. Remember this... after you sleep with a guy, there is nothing else left of that caliber, of that privacy level to give to him. You have fired all the shots. He hasn't. He still has with him the choice to give total and mature and long lasting commitment. That remains with hm until he gives it to you IN TIME. That is the differnece. We guys need time to prove it. Girls, on a few moments (well, hors, I would hope ;-} . If it wasn't like that now and for ions and ions in thepast, we would not be embarassed to be naked in front of strangers, right ? If provzacy wasnot important, that is. There has to be something that differentiates us from other (lower) animals. A female cat asks nothing the male cat before they do it. Female cats do not expect or ask for commitment. It is pure animal instinct. I believe that a woman should reserve that MOST precious act for the guy that ULTIMATELY has SWORN alliegance, loyalty love for ever. I believe a little that if a woman gives herself to every guy she honestly LIKES then that means TWO things to me (1) she has a weak character and falls for the first guy she sees or (2) she is a bit desperate to hook up and marry. A girl told me that the biggest fear a girl or woman have is to find herself 45 and still single. --- LISTEN TO THIS the more reserved, the more EXPENSIVE a girl makes herself (not hard to get), the more precious and desirable a girl becomes to guys. Trust me... I am a guy. I do not think that if a girl sleeps with a guy that she anything bad... but I feel a bit sorry for her because the trust she is putting on that guy is immense and will more often than not result in a failed relationship... but in the meantime he left his mark on her.

I've never waited longer than 2 weeks or 3 dates which ever comes first. That's just me though. I'd probably not wait longer than that because I think there are guys out there that women would hop in the sack with the first night they met. If she made me wait too long I'd feel like a chump for waiting and move on.

I guess hopefully for you, you have a chump.

Thats entirely up to her. Most seem to want it right away, and yes, it does lower my opinion of them.

Just make sure you do something romantic first. e.g. picnic in the park, swimming at a lake, etc.

WELL I THINK IT WILL DEPENDS ON EACH AND EVERY INDIVIDUALS. DEPENDING UPON THEIR UNDERSTANDS OF THERE FEELINGS. IF THEY FEEL THEY ARE QUITE CLOSER ENOUGH TO HAVE SEX THEN WHY NOT THEY HAVE EACH AND EVRY RIGHT TO HAVE SEX.
