Nope.. I dont think Gunguly's services are required for the World Cup.. India has a perfect combination of Young blood and Experience already.. without him. If he wants he can be an "Experience Advisor" to the team which goes to the World Cup.

See no one is indispensible, not even Ganguly. But the way he has been treated by the Indian Selectors and the Coach is abominable. Ganguly is the most successful Indian Captain of the recent times. The team India is playing these days has been built by him and in doing so, he has given priority to Indian interests and not any narrow considerations. No person is perfect, may be Ganguly is arrogant in the sense that he has the courage to call a spade a spade. Those who are mighty now, are just being vindictive and mean.

yes, definetly.............ganguly is the experience of INDIA............he is so much talented......you cannot take the young team to the owrldcup ......you cant even imagine of winning the worldcup with a talented player missing.
ganguly should not be the captain BUT as one down he is the best, although i am a pakistani but i would like to say that he is been tough to our country in every single match.
he can bowl a bit too, he can keep the wicket as well........his records show that he can do anything in any part of the match.

my answer is no.but yes,50%chgance to play ganguly in indian team.he play counticricket in england.so he got some practice.and alsi fans back ground save to play in worldcup.
because ganguly has no form and he did not play short pitch balls correctly.so he loose his wicket easily .now india performed very well in dravid captancywith young boys.the team was filled with young blood.they playvery well.our selectorsand coach didnot support ganguly.so i think there is no chance to play in indian team.iam a ganguly fan but there is no ganguly.i feel very badand sad.this is not a best answerbut one of the fan heart.

hey we need young blood , now cricket has become a power game only 101% fitness is required , i dont think ganguly was ever 100% fit . so its better he boost the team from outside and dont becomes the part of dirty politics
