why do people swing their arms when they walk???

Feels more natural than keeping them stiff at your side, good for balance. If you notice it happens more, the faster people walk. Look at how much the power walkers do it.

it is a natural reaction. try walking without swinging ur arms it would feel different.

It can help in the balance. As your foot goes back the arm goes forward to help keep the center of gravity vertical.
