I'm planning to buy an MP3 player, but I read over the internet that Apple Ipod's battery cannot be replaced. I like the new Ipod with video and I called the local distributor. They confirmed that it cannot be replaced, I have to send it back to them for a fee of $70.

Ipod Video is ur best bet, psp is good for video player but it's more of a hasle it's more of a multi purpose unit video, games, pics, music, and networking. your right to notice the battery life but like most new hardware this a lithuim ion battery and they dont die out as easily as a normal battery.

Well, try PSP with MP3 in it and video. It doesn't come with the memory stick so buy the 1GB, my recommendation.

iPod. Works like mad. Connects to tv, stereo, car dvd system and holds a ton of video. Batteries seem to last a few years (I use mine heavily and it's still going strong).
