Italy was on the side of the Axis powers of Germany and Japan.
They were a fully participating member. Although the King of Italy put on a good act as if he was on the Allies side, he was not and neither was the Pope. Mussolini ran Italy during this time.. basically through terror. China was on the Allied side and they fought the Japanese.
People will tell you that France surrendered but the truth is Italy never even fought, they just caved in to Mussolini and Hitler. Ask an Italian Jewish person which side Itally was on during WW2.

Italy was the German's main ally in Europe under Benito Mussolini. Japan was Germany's ally in Asia Pacific.. China wasn't involved but was attacked and invaded by Japan long before WW2 started.

Italy started off on the axis side but near the end of the war switch over to the allies. Mussolini was dragged through the streets by his own people . Japan invaded China.

Italy left the Axis though when Mussolini lost power in 1943.
The U.S. was allied with England, China, the Soviet Union and several other Countries during WWII.

Germany was with Italy Mussolini, the facist pig was a lot like Hitler, maybe worse. China and Japan were warring even before Pearl Harbor and the Japanese cannabalized and tortured several Chinese and Koreans

they were on the german side and when things got to hot they sort of became neutral even though germany was still in italy until the british and their allies invaded and pushed them out,that reminds me ,what is the shortest book of war heroes in the world,, answer the italian book..japan was on the germans side but the chinese really weren't in it but they favoured the allies.
