They keep drawing it out...it's tiresome.....the scenes are short, the plot goes nowhere for too long.

I'm only guessing, but it was such a surprise for the original writers that the show was such a hit, they didn't have a long run story line and with a group of different writers, they lost sight of what keeps viewers interested, started trying to put too far out reasons for some of the questions they posed on the show, too many twists and turns in a plot that had no plausible end in anyone's wildest imagination. I stopped watching it, got disgusted with it.

I thought the second season was far better than the first season. It's a great show. They must keep dragging it out because the mystery is what keeps people coming back. Remember X-Files? They started giving that away and in the end it just got too complicated, you didn't know what the hell was going on.

Because they kept showing repeats to the point that I was beginning to lose interest in the show. The finale got my interest back but if they continue doing next year what they did this year, I'll quit watching it on TV and just wait for the DVD.
