Well, for starters, whales are mammals, not fish. How would you like it if people started "fishing" for dogs?

I think they ran out of ten ton test line. Maybe it was Exxon when they found out whales produced a clean burning, cheap fuel. Could have been George Bush, he's responsible for everything else according to some. Or maybe they just stopped biting.

Whales are considered mammals not fish so people tend to like them more.

Because theirs nothing normal about using an iron cast rod forged in a mill, stringed with woven fishing thread and baited with some plastic bait that was manufactured in a heavy industrial complex.
Hunting is fine so long as you use what you were born with to catch your food, if you can chase after a cow and bring it down - then your more than welcome to hunt and eat it. If people only caught what they could catch themselves, their would be no obese people :p

many of the fishes are being extinct... you cant keep fishing if they are all gone. duh...
