It's when the implanted cells grow out of control and still produce the hormone that makes tests show you are pregnant, but you are not really anymore.

it means that if you are pregnant and have a miscarriage a piece of tissue from the baby can catch on your ovaries and can still cause you to have a positive pregnancy test even though you are no longer pregnant
