Its all about business. The person who got the job was probably related to someone in the company with clout. If he was related to one of the big dogs at work it doesnt matter if they declined the job at first. The job was probably meant for them to have anyway because of who they are related to. Remember in any business they always look out for their own. If you are with a company for years and they have someone who needs a job and your job is the one they want, they will not hesitate to sacrifice your position for their son, daughter, ...... In todays world of business we are all just a number when the big dog wants something they usually get it.

First, I'm sorry. I hope when you orientated to your position, usually on your 1st day, that you signed a document accepting the position. If you applied yourself and no one complained or disciplined you. You have been wrongfully terminated and your states labor dept. needs to be notified. You have been discriminated against because you are not part of their family or have friends or relatives connected to the boss. Follow- thru, call your former boss and ask yourself: "why?" Also, follow-thru with the labor dept. until you receive action. It will probably result into a job back or compensation for wages lost.

This job may be what you wanted, but may not have been the right job for you. When one door closes, another one opens, so keep your chin up and don't let this get you down. It's their loss.

You received a reason. You were the second choice and they needed help until the other person made up their mind. Sorry you went through that.
