I enjoyed reading this story. The author develops the setting in a way that fits the characters and gives readers a feel for their tragic lives. I've read it twice. There's also a good movie which is perhaps still available.

It isn't so thick...
It's a great book, you should read it, even if you considered it thick.
The story is interesting, the characters are exceptional: an unusual love story, a passionate, destructive love that lasts even through the death...
Read it!!!

If I tell you, you won't read it and you should. All I can give you is that it is a tragic and romantic story about forbidden love.
