It's amazing how easily a star can be forgotten. If you had asked the same question 5-6 years back, everyone would give a positive response to your question He was (and is) the star of England who led his club to the treble in 1999 & made them league winners in 2000 and 2001. Also, he is the same person who risked his whole life/career to be able to help his country, England win the 2002 World Cup (which unfortunately, they couldn't).
But look what happened to him after he moved to Madrid in 2003 - he has had three bad seasons there & people have completely forgotten him!!! Nobody even cares about him anymore! They even want him out of the team now. This all happened in just the last three years!

Who ever it was David doesn't deserve it what wait whats this huu? he hasn't scored a goal yet oh that's what I thought you said well I don't know if he hasn't scored but I know this year in the world cup not one player deserves a statue know one played like a true champ yet.
