Hello..It's really difficult to be generalized to only one language,besides English. My mother tongue is not English and I have the vantage point to name the language I face no difficulties to speak fluently. I speak fluently Italian,with certainty differs,but the previous knowledge of English gave me a good opportunity to aquire the wanted level easily..

Well, like you, English is my first language. I can get by in some other languages, but not very well. I guess my choice would be Standard Chinese, otherwise known as Mandarin and Putonghua. I studied it for a year and got a good grade, but I can't communicate in it. Apart from being spoken by so many people, it opens a window into a very different culture from ours. We in the West can do things they can't and vice versa. Like they're good at fuzzy logic. And various SE Asian cultures like Thailand, Cambodia, Laos are heavily influenced by China. Similarly Korea, Mongolia and Japan.

Well it not "speaking" but American Sign Language is my most favorite language. As far as a spoken language, Spanish fluently or Portugese.

my native language is Spanish, but if i have to learn a new language it would be Italian. my ancestors were Italian ( my mother's side) so i think i would be nice learn it

i know phrases in Italian and can understand it ( Spanish and Italian are very similar) but i can't speak it fluently :(

American Sign Language
Among other reasons, I like communicating with my children without making noise. Comes in handy.

I suppose French because this province I live in is bilingual English/French and I used to have a good job but now I have to do something that pays so much less.

I am not a native English speaker, I can speak Malay, English, Mandarin and 3 chinese dialects.
