Why not they make sequels for everything else. although you are right for thinking into the future- they say if they are going to do it they want it done right- good story ,otherwise no reason to make it.

Now Disney own Pixar & judging by their recent output it is very likely Disney will try and make a sequal. Wouldn't be surprised if we see a Toy Story 3 as well!
