ok i am 16 years old i will be 17 in august and i am upset. ok its the summer and well i am hanging out at my brother house and i am also babysitting too and well my bf lives one street away from there and sometimes i feel like walking down the street just to walk but i cant i have to either stay in the house or if i go outside i have to stay in the yard i remember one time i asked my brother what time he had to go to work and he sent me home i guess he thought i was to bring my bf over when he would leave and you know what else is bad the little dude that i am baby sitting they even tell him to watch me and my bf cant even come whem my bother and his wife or away from the house why are they doing all of this i am sick og it i am tired of not being able to walk around the area what can i tell them that would make the to atleast consider letting me do any thing

He's your brother thats why he's doing this to you your his baby sister of course he's not gonna leave you alone to be with your bf he's just protecting you and taking care of you he means well means he loves you..

Tell them it is your freakin' summer vacation. They got to have theirs! You are allowed to have a life! I would work out hours or something, because you should not have to ask permission to go outside, right? Tell them when you're not babysitting, you ARE going to do some of the things you want...it's not going to affect your ability to watch the kids. If they have a problem with it, tell them to put the kids in daycare, and you will have all the free time you want!

well unfortunaltelly it gets that way whe you are a girl . a girl always gets over protected by parent and love ones. i guess its just because they are afraid you might end up doing or making the wrong choices , since you are still soo young. i know it seems like you canteven breathe or that they are treating like if yuo were a baby. well just sitdown and have a talk to your family and let them know how you feel . maye theywill see everything in another way. but right they are just worried and they love you and they wantthe best for you. just have fun and do good in school good luck and best wishes!!! :)
