Postal code and zip code are both systems for getting mail routed quickly to the right address in North America.

In the US they use a 5-digit zip code. It looks like : 12345

In Canada, they use a 6-digit postal code. It is:
Letter number letter number letter number
and looks like: A2B 3C4
