But it sounds like a UTI (urinary tract infection). I used to get them a lot in college from dairy and carbonic acid (soda pop).
If it is a UTI, then it can be treated quickly with antibiotics. Also, for additional help, cranberry juice helps kill the bacteria. The non-sugary kind. 100% juice, no added sugar. Also, they make a non-prescription pain killer called AZO specifically for this kind of pain. You can ask at a pharmacy.
