I love how some Muslims say, "They are not forced to wear them, they wear them by choice." But what happens to the women who choose NOT to wear them? They get beaten with sticks... it's no wonder they all "choose" to wear them. And don't even try to tell me I'm wrong, I've seen it with my own eyes in Iran, Pakistan, Afghanistan, and even Jordan and Egypt. Aparently Arab men cannot control their lustful thoughts if even a strand of hair is poking out where they can see it.

I see the 'christian' bigots are on line again. No wonder Muslims hate you.
Why do you dress the way you do?
I have met and worked with many Muslim women. They do not have to wear any head covering unless they feel that they are ready to make that committment, because unlike you, they take their promises very seriously. They should be commended for this not criticised.
When in London, I worked with Muslim school students, who likewise wore headcovering. I respected their belief enough to argue in their favour with school authorities

How do you feel when you see nuns wearing head coverings? Muslim women with head coverings are following what God asks them to do. They are closer to God as "Mary" is. "Mary" (the Mother of God's son as Christians allege) wears a head covering, do you know that?.Anyway,a majority of those women who display thier charms for males are cheap & often easy, but more jealous. Mind your own business. If you mind your own business you'll get bussy all the time!

Exactly the same way as people who who wear low cut shirts to show off their boobs - it's a form of self-expression. If some women insist on their right to bare their boobs and and their bottoms in public, other women should be able to insist on their right to keep whatever they want covered and unexposed to UV rays. If some women insist they have a God-given right to parade around in skin tight stretch pants in fire engine red, then others less enamored of fire engine red also have a God-given right to wear looser clothes in neutral colors. If some women insist on their right to cover themselves with permanent ink, other women who don't like to be needled have an equal right to insist that they not be badgered into exposing their skin to pain.
Noone has a monopoly on truth. Let's learn to understand and respect each others' values. There just might be something we can learn from other cultures.

I feel that the muslim women's rights are violated, but it is the culture and the way of life that they live in and we must accept that, even though that it is wrong. I think women shouldnt be covered up but since it's there culture i think nothings wrong with it.\

i think that it's fine, and to tell you they are wearing it with their will they are not foreced to wear it, they choose to!
besides i think that it' s a good thing, just think about it, all the problems in the west like the abuses, kidnapping,.....etc, you don't find that in the islamic world (like the gulf countries )eccept rarely!
it isn't abuse and the people that beat the women who don't wear it are extreamests they do all the wrong things in the name of islam, but islam is the religion of peace so plz you guys dont judge the entire religion by the act of some stupid people. if anyone has any more Qs plz contact me.

MUSLIM WOMEN I FEEL DESERVE BETTER RESPECT FROM THEIR FELLOW MEMBERS. THE WHOLE CULTURE IS DESIGNED TO HUMILIATE, VIOLATE AND DEGRADE WOMEN. PLUS CONTROL. BUT............ NOW A LOT OF THE MUSLIMS I SEE IN MY CITY, PHILADELPHIA,PA THEY WEAR THE ATTIRE, AND THINK IT'S HUMBLING, YEAH, WHEN THEY FISTFIGHT, THEY **** ANOTHER GIRLS MAN OR TRAP ANOTHER GIRLS MAN WITH A BABY AND USE FOUL LANGUAGE. I DON'T THINK ALLAH LIKES THAT EITHER, SO DOES IT REALLY MATTER WHAT YOU WEAR IN ANY CULTURE?

The same way I'd feel if I saw a Native American wearing a headdress and buckskins. It's not always appropriate. When in Rome..........
