It probably just means we don't want to lose five points!

Not at all.
Why ask a question when the answer has already been given or you have found out on your own.

I ask a lot of questions; my friends say that I'm nosy and up to a point I am. But I love learning/discovering new things.

Absolutely not. Questions allow you to grow, to learn, to see. It is said that there is no such thing as a dumb question but it has been proven that there are dumb answers. It is fair to assume that no one "knows it all" and it is my belief that there isn't anyone who has not asked a question. I will however concede that it may be assumed that one thinks they know everything and that questions are beneath them. I would prefer to think that shyness prohibits their asking..... This question can create a circle, but a question never asked is an answer never realized therefore there can never be a "know it all". There can only be those who believe they are "a legend in their own mind".

To not ask a question means you don't want to know. Not knowing means not being able to ask. Brain teaser lol

On here? No, not at all. It probably means that the person either knows how to find information on their own, or they don't trust the answers that they'll receive here.

Not in the least. I would rather answer than ask on here. I don't like rejection, rude comments etc.
