i called my girlfriends cell and it said "the person you are trying to call is not accepting calls at this time please try your call again later" what would make it say that usually it goes streight to voicemail if she can hear it or dont want to answer it.

When a person's cell phone account is "hotlined" for things such as non payment or a lost or stolen device reported, you will hear that recording.

That's a T-Mobile feature. it's the polite way of them saying that the person you're trying to call did not pay their phone bill, so we shut them off until they pay....

Maybe she had her phone switched off...or maybe her phone was out of reach. I wouldn't make a big deal out of it if I were you. Its just a standard line the phone company uses, it doest mean your girlfriend is avoiding her. Best ask her and find out together when her phone says that message.

It either means she's out of range, has it turned off or has rejected the call

it is because her phone is shut off not as in power off but as in her service got cut off ie not pay bill
