I am a International Business major in Toronto, Canada. I would like to live and work in the U.S, but considering the laws that govern the country, a Canadian citizen cannot work in the U.S. I know many Canadians do, what is the best way I can do this? Thanks for your time.

Probably in the field of solicited services in Vegas.

Yep. I would say that is the best way for a Canadian to live and work in the U.S.

Encourage the people of Quebec to vote for independence, then move to Winnipeg and become a U.S. citizen when Canada breaks up and the U.S. absorbs the western provinces.

But seriously, try the Canadian and U.S. governments for technical information, then look for a job in the U.S. I'm listing a Canadian site below.

Best of luck! We U.S. citizens are not all bad. ;)

If you qualify, a TN permit is the easiest and fastest way for a Canadian citizen to start working in the US. You typically need a bachelors degree and a job offer in one of the approved occupations. The following site has lots of good info.

Please do not be offended, but our citizens have problems working with our economy the way it is today. We need to let U.S. citizens have jobs before hiring those from other countries. Would you please find some other country to find employment until our job situation has improved?
Thank you.
