San Antonio Texas was recently named the third best place to live. I sell homes here and the market is taking off. San Antonio has a very large medical district that includes dozens of hospitals and clinics all in the same area. I am a veteran and I go to the VA hospital here, it is great. The VA is always posting job listings and are in need of many professions. San Antonio is beautiful and is a great place to live, we have the least traffic problems of any town in Texas, a millions times better than Dallas or Houston. I can help you find a home to rent or buy for very inexpensive. You are only a few hours away so come and visit, walk the riverwalk and I guarantee that you will love it here.

I'm not sure I understand, have you or have you not tried to get a job in Houston. If you have not, then I suggest you pick up a Sunday Chronicle. The Houston Medical is one if the nation's largest and best medical centers in the US. If you can't find a job there in a week or so the definitely go to San Antonio. There are several military bases there and I know that a couple of them are medical bases.
