Many famous couples were mentioned. My favorite was Joe DiMaggio and Marilyn Monroe.
I believe Joe really loved Marilyn in spite of her transgressions, until the very end...
Marilyn..."When I got off of the plane, Joe, the crowd roared. You never heard anything like it."
Joe..."I certainly have."
Couldn't resist. Sports and Amore...They go hand in hand.
Frank Sinatra and Ava Gardner come to mind as well, only Frank never hit in 56 consecutive games.
