my suggestion is run out to the pharmacy. get a buffer pad and two nail files. get to work for 45 minutes buff them down and make them smooth all over the nail and file them. this will take a good 30-45 min cause i just did it. then, get a nail strenghener-a base coat after- then put on some clear or a nice dark polish thats real nice. and a glaze top coat over base coat.

Rainmans's wench says:
Use a filer to even out your nails the use a emery board to shine your nails you can buy it at cosmetic aisle. Wash your hands with soap and water, use the board to shine your nails once again when finish use a clear enamel or clear pink and your nails will look like they were done by a professional.

Your existing nails are permanently damaged and will not heal, but the new nail growing out will be back to normal. You can try putting several coats of polish on them to try to patch them up for your special occasion, but they are going to look bad until they grow out. That is the major drawback to artificial nails.

it will take a long time to recover. i think it also happened to me when i were trying to remove my nail polish i scratch it then my nail looks horrible. i found out that medicines cant treat it so well. after a very long time for about two years , i just saw my nail back to normal again.

i'd advise to get like an easy layout on the nail. alongside with a flower or a stunning swirly. yet then get like a jem interior the middle in silver. or if u choose the comparable concept as acryllics u can circulate to ulta and get fake nails. i'd advise the sally hansen variety although.

use a round pink buffer and softly buff them...I would suggest changing over to fiberglass nails...they are a cleaner and safer product...just cos someone has a professional license does not mean they are looking out for your welfare..they tend to get greedy...look for someone that's not in a hurry and doesn't look like they are unhappy, these people are being pressured by their bosses...good luck...

let them grow out. for now you can apply 2 coats of transparent glossy nail coat so that it give shine and smooth texture to your nail. you can consider gently scrapping the nail with a fine emmery board before you gloss it.
