will the resurrection plant/rose of jerico get new growth?

i have a plant and like only half the leaves r left was wondering if the plant will regenerate and also wondering if you can plant it in potting soil or do you just leave it as it is and only add water when needed....thanks

i only have this plant in water, can you plant it in soil as well?

It sounds like it needs repotting. Check for root bound root ball.
