Do you have other rabbits or is this your only one? Reason I ask is that if his is a Doe and she's been around a Buck she could be pregnant and pulling the fur from under her neck. This is a normal process that Doe's do just before they have their babies. They use their fur to line the nesting area.
Of course it could also be due to heat, allergies, stress or even just good ol' molting.
Best suggestion would be have it checked by your local vet.
I have bunnies and when we bred our Doe she pulled out her neck and belly fur. The only one of our bunnies to be shedding right now and it's indoors is the Wild Cottontail we are caring for till it wilds out and is ready for re-introduction to the wild. She sheds a little bit but only because she's shedding her more short juvenial coat for her adult coat.

Hope this helps ya' some. As I said you don't mention another bunny nor if this is a female so it's hard to say if it's due to pregnancy or what.

is it dribbling? Thats my first thought or perhaps it's got a problem with its teeth and isn't chewing it's food properly and dribbling or spilling food down it's front. Get it's teeth checked out and the lose of fur. It could be an allergic reaction or dermatitus to something that can easily be fixed up but it may get worse if you leave it. When you take it to the vets to get it checked out for the fur problem they will tell you it's sex.

May be an allergic reaction to a flea bite. Fleas are sneaky and can get into your house. My cat had the same thing happen with the hair right above her tail. Call your vet. There are shots and drops for this problem.

It may just be going into a major shed. Mine shed out twice a year, and one of the girls sheds really patchy, usually the worst around her neck.
