Wow! What a can of worms! There are so many aspects to consider. I guess my concern would be how any children born would be treated because there are still some very cruel and ignorant people in the world. Other than that I believe that a marriage is a work in progress for anyone and ethnic differences, just as religion, children, etc, should be taken into consideration before the decision to marry is made. With understanding, commitment, and concessions a mixed marriage is no harder (or easier) than any other. I am Caucasian and was married to a Hispanic man for ten years. What broke up the marriage was his infidelity not any ethnic issues.

It's nobody's else's business, and I'm fine with it. Who ever decides a mixed marriage is for them, it's their life. They know what they will have to deal with. Leave them alone. Halle Barry is from a mixed marriage, as is Tiger Woods. Tiger even has a white wife. It's their business and no one else's.

The color of your skin should have nothing to do with how your marriage works. It is all about how the two people get along. Do they really love each other? If they do then it will work out. Love is on the inside, in our hearts, It matters not what the color of your skin is.

What is the basis of calling it 'Mixed' in the first place? skin colour? Language? Native? Guess this 'segregation' is never going to die, at this rate. Theres absolutely nothing wrong with 2 people sharing their lives with each other, irrespective of where they're from, what they look like, age gaps, gender even. All that matters is that they're happy, and they know what they're doing.

I am happy to support mixed marriage. I think that we are all made for each other. Nothing, least of all race, should keep us apart.

i personally dont have an issue with it. im a result of a mixed marriage...and well so is my mother. yeah, of course i dealt with some racial issues growing up...but i would never trade my rich cultural background for anything else in the world.

On black and white marriages (no offense to anyone, I'm not racial!!!)? It depends on the people. If the people are truly in love, then it's their choice. But I don't think I would marry someone from another race...

I think a female should marry a male. That is a good mix.

I think it's no problem at all as long as they like each other. today
many people from different race, nationality, background and so on
are happily together and pay no attention to the issue that their
partner is of a different race or nationality.
