When having intercourse, men generally will climax before women. When you feel your climaxing too soon, slow down and tightly hold the base of your penis, that will stop the urge to climax. When the urge stops let go of the base, relax and start over.
It takes time to fine tune the love making process, but it can and will be done with patience and practice. Don't be embarrassed, at least you're asking questions and getting answers to help you become a better lover.

Sex was designed for procreation, rather than recreation. Most animals have sex because it feels good and it is natures way of giving a reward for making new life. In many natural situations it is best to have quick sex, rather than prolonging it. Thus it is not unnatural to have quick sex among many animals, especially those who have predators lurking around.
Among humans prolonging sex is a learnt behavior. I very much doubt that someone could keep an erection for one or two hours and then unlearn it, although that can surely happen with age, as your nerves become weaker, but you are talking about in the late seventies or early eighties perhaps.
There are various techniques that can be learnt to control ejaculations related to building the perineal muscles and getting in good physical shape. Check out Kegel exercises under Wikipedia, and also premature ejaculation also under wikipedia for more detailed analysis and response.

Its normal, can't really do much about it.
But, instead of taking it out and holding onto the base.
Sit up, have the girl sit on your lap and lean closest to you as possible. while your penis is still inside her. so that it is pointing straight up and make out with her until the urge goes away.
Can't really describe the posture. . .

If my husband takes longer than five minutes, It starts to rub the wrong way inside me. So, I go first then he goes. Just find a girl who doesn't like marathon sex.
