Alcahol
Ether (QUEEN ELIZABETH DID IT)
water
walking
distraction
massage
support

Paitence endurance and inner strength, thats why although there are 57% males born into this world women survive the longest and have a better quality of life. We are in it for the long haul, no matter what!!

I have had three children all natural. No epidurals then. I mostly screamed and yelled, "GET IT OUT" I also tried to choke the nurse who kept saying, "Calm down, its not that bad is it." Women are so lucky now. If I had to have a baby now no way would it be natural!

I have 6 kids with one on the way i only used epidural once there is this awesome stuff called nubane (sp?)

I have no idea but it isn't always bad I went all natural..my first I was in labour for 2 hrs my second only 1hr. The second hurt more than the first though. My third will be all natural too I hope!!

women back in the day were literally tied down on the delivery table and were given some type of gas to knock them out, and when they woke up the baby was there... sounds kinda cruel, but it's true..

no idea.....cuz they still kept on having babies..i somehow believe the life was different more harder work for women made them stronger...and now that they were invented well if they can keep themselves from having pain why not..

I didn't have any meds and I think your body just adjusts...I have 2 kids
