First of all, don't focus so much on your weight. It's not good to worry about how much you weigh at your age. However, it is good to want to be healthy.

Consider that you are still young and your body might continue to go through some changes. In the next few years you might very well have a growth spurt or something that will naturally change the shape of your body. So I wouldn't worry too much about that right now.

As far as your overall health, be sure that you are eating right and getting enough sleep and exercise. Don't overdo it on exercise; most people work too hard to get the benefit they are looking for. Sometimes gaining weight is a symptom of mental illness as well, such as depression, so if you are worried about your mental health you can seek help from a mental health professional. However, I think for most people exercising and eating right is just great.

Please don't get sucked into any crazy diets. They don't work and they can cause you health problems.

Also, take time to feel good about who you are. I suspect that you have many good qualities and talents. You have a lot to contribute to the world. People who truly care about you will not care what you look like other than being concerned about your health. Just make good choices that will help you to be happy, and often things take care of themselves.

Cut down on eating. Take lots of vitamins. Exercise. Avoid all high calories foods for at least two months. Eat more fish. Try eating salad without the dressing, or just use some lemon juice. Eat no dessert. Remember, burn more calories than you take in. If you can do that, you will loose weight.

Exercise every day, even if it's just a walk. Go on a high protein, low carbohydrate diet. Eat fish, eggs, chicken, occasional lean beef or pork, low fat cottage cheese. Stay away from regular cheese, no bread, pasta, rice, potatoes, peas, beans (except green beans). No fruit and no fruit juice (it's sugar water, my dr says). Cut down on carrots and tomatoes (included ketchup). Use mustard instead of mayonnaise in recipes. Eat lots of salads, green vegetables. Salads only have one tablespoon of dressing for the whole salad. No ice cream, or other desserts. 8 glasses of water a day. No caffeine

Write down everything you eat and drink for a week or two and talk to a dietician. Also see your doctor for bloodwork to make sure your hormones are normal. Difficulty losing weight can be a side effect of a medical problem.

Be more active, and cut down how much you eat. Avoid pops and fat filled foods. Eat several smaller meals a day instead of 2 or 3 big meals. Fruits and vegetables are good snack foods.

instead of drinking sodas, juices...basically anything that's liquid and has a high sugar content, drink water with every meal (or whenever you need a quick pick me up, drink really, really cold water) sugar based liquids are absorbed into your blood quicker than solid sugar because the body does not have to break it down...
