i downloaded an update an it started crashing. im sick of it! the homesite doesnt even hav any specific drivers for me. i uninstalled it an reinstalled it but still crashes. it says wen it reboots: ERROR IN DISPLAY ADAPTER. STOP>ERROR HARDWARE DRIVER THREAD CROSS. OR STOP>HARDWARE DRIVER THREAD CROSS
oy =( life sucks then u die. but y me? i jus had to get new monitor. was fried in power surge. dumb surge protector didnt save it. lightning struck house. i dont think its wut did in my card tho. it worked for a week.

you might have better luck posting in the nvidia forums, and not yahoo answers. there are some geeky techies on here, but nobody knows exactly why your graphics card is making it do that besides the people who made it, or theres a slight possbility someone else experienced the same problem, but theres an even lower possibility that they were able to fix it.

they're rather previous now. likely more effective functional off getting some element more effective proper and larger moderen so that you may run the video games on MAX or so more effective moderen video games will run effective in case you pick a large photos card. i propose the GTX sequence from Nvidia or perhaps a 9800

Chances are, you made the same mistake all rookies make. You installed the new driver, but didn't uninstall the old driver. Just download this: http://www.drivercleaner.net/professional.html which is freeware, and follow the instructions exactly.

this is the EASY fix... if you are running XP, which you should be if you are running that card, do a system restore to the day before you installed the update... click start, programs, accessories, system tools, system restore. a wizard will pop up the click restore my computer to an earlier time. then choose a time previous to the time you did the update

Roll back your Driver...rightclick My computer, then properties, then the hardware tab, then click device drivers, then double click display adapers, then click Nivida graphic card, then click drivers, then click roll back drivers...

take the game card rite outta ur pc and re format the system!...and try to buy another card or try re-installing it!....
